IMAGINE Camp Club Descriptions
Click on each club for more details
Sports Club
In this club, children will learn the basics of different sports while learning how to participate as a team, as well as,. enhance their fine and gross motor skills.. The fundamentals of teamwork taught in this club can be carried onto the team sports the children play.
Lego Club
Campers are provided with different Lego challenges to work through collaboratively as a team to create. The challenges may be concrete or abstract.
Young Inventors Club
This club challenges the children to put their thinking caps on! The premise behind this club stems from a quote from the movie Robots, “see a need, fill a need.” We look for the camper to come up with an invention and throughout their time with us, they will be the inventors of their idea. Campers start by brainstorming ways to create this idea, make blueprints and lists of items they need. In the end, the camper will create prototypes of their idea.
Fitness Club
Campers learn the importance of physical activity as well as how to motivate each other! Campers will learn proper warm-up and cool-down and the different types of workouts/physical activity.
Art Club
Children are encouraged daily to create beautiful masterpieces. This club focuses on different artists and their techniques. Once the campers learn of the artist and the technique, they will then be given the opportunity to create like them. This club opens discussion to how one style is not better than another, and how everyone is unique and artistic in their own way!
Comic Book Club
Many campers love to look at and read comic books. Here they are given the tools and knowledge to create their very own comic books.
